Job Responsibilities

1. Candidate will be responsible for development, testing, maintenance, monitoring and support of critical systems
2. Candidate will be responsible for addressing issues and responding to user / business queries
3. Should be able to translate requirements into code changes, do impact analysis, following the guidelines on code quality
4. Candidate should be able to comfortably trace and investigate faults and errors and be proficient at diagnosing and reproducing issues
5. Should have Good written/verbal communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Candidate will be responsible for documenting changes and creating release artifacts
7. Candidate should be ready to work in India and UK shifts

Experience

1. 3-7 years of professional experience working in a data centric environment.
2. Experienced in building modern data pipelines, including data validation and monitoring.
3. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL is required.
4. Promoter of software engineering best practices, from automated testing to CI/CD
5. Familiarity with Docker, cloud computing (Azure) preferred
6. It would be desirable to also have worked with a more traditional tech stack, such as C# .NET and a frontend technology (such as Angular)
7. Should have experience working in onshore-offshore model

Must have Technical skills

1. Core Python
2. SQL (SQL Server preferred)
3. Docker, Kubernetes
4. Azure Automation
